Animation Review

The animation that I'm reviewing is "The Adventures of Tintin", directed by Steven Spielberg. The storyline was extremely interesting and captivating, and was as equally impressive as the animation techniques. The motion capture technique made a very realistic looking effect, while still retaining the looks and personality from the original comic book. The action scenes were very well made, with a great amount of attention paid to minuscule details to make the scene more believable and complete.
The character design was extremely well made. All major characters had very good personality development, as well as very detailed character models. The way that they interacted with the plot and storyline was both interesting and even slightly believable(except for the aircraft in the storm scene). The part I enjoyed the most about the character design was the way that they focused around the main character. Tintin himself was not particularly exciting, but everyone around him was quite interesting, especially Captain Haddock, the 2 twin detectives, and his dog, Snowy.
The soundtrack of this movie is also extremely impressive. It was composed by John Williams, and the songs themselves are very well made, and match the film very well. The exciting scenes of his flashback swashbuckling were well accompanied by an equally exciting soundtrack.
The actual story line of the movie was all very well made. There was lots of suspense, a great mystery, good adventure, and a very well timed dénoument. The character development was interesting, and the introduction of different characters was very well timed to make the story more interesting.
In summary, this movie was very well made in pretty much single way. The plot, setting, character development, and technical creation all make this one of the most interesting animated movies I've seen in the past year.
